Action movie maestro Zack Snyder is no stranger to epic battles and fantastical worlds, so it’s no surprise he’s got eyes on the popular video game Fortnite! When asked about bringing the game to the big screen, Snyder admitted he’d of course be interested in it. He’s confessed to being a Fortnite fanatic, staying up late into the night, playing “too much” Fortnite.
During the conversation with Etalk, Snyder was asked about the possibility of developing a cinematic universe for Fortnite, to which he conveyed his eagerness. Though Snyder has expressed his enthusiasm for making it, it seems netizens are keeping him as the second choice only, after Michael Bay.
Zack Snyder Is Open to Directing a Fortnite Movie
In a recent chat with Etalk, acclaimed director Zack Snyder, best known for his work on Rebel Moon couldn’t contain his excitement when asked about directing a Fortnite movie. So, when asked about the possibility of him bringing Fortnite to the big screen, his answer was swift and decisive, with a confident “of course.”
“I really wanted to make some Fortnite skins for the movie [Rebel Moon], first of all, just like, as the most obviously basic involvement,” Snyder said.
“But yeah, look, Fortnite is an amazing world, and it is an amazing distraction for me. But it’s really cool, and the alchemy that they’ve created there is really unique. When I started playing it, I thought I knew what it was, and then it was something entirely different.”
“You definitely don’t know,” Snyder went on to say. “You definitely can never say never – that’s my mantra in this business.”
Despite his desire to helm a live-action movie Fortnite movie, some people are advocating for Michael Bay only as the first choice.

absolutely not. he’d stretch it into a 5 hour run time with nothing happening for 3 of those hours

I’d rather a fortnite movie get made by a literal child than Zack Snyder

Although there hasn’t been any official announcement about a Fortnite movie, considering the game’s enormous popularity, it wouldn’t be surprising if Epic has received proposals for one.

Why Michael Bay Will Be the Good Choice for a Fortnite Live-Action Movie?
In the hypothetical scenario of a Fortnite live-action movie, Michael Bay emerges as the ideal candidate to helm the project.
Known for his adrenaline-pumping films such as Transformers and Armageddon, Bay has carved a niche for himself as a master of spectacle and excitement. As the gaming phenomenon Fortnite continues to capture the hearts of millions, the idea of a live-action adaptation has gained momentum. Michael Bay has a unique filmmaking formula that aligns perfectly with the energetic and vibrant nature of Fortnite. His films are characterized by intense action sequences, breathtaking visual effects, and a pulse-pounding soundtrack – all elements that define the Fortnite gaming experience.
