Even U.S. President Joe Biden is talking about pop star Taylor Swift. Frankly speaking, who isn’t. Biden made light of the conspiracy theory that he and Swift are working together. During an appearance on a late-night show, the President had a readily available answer to the question of whether or not the Blank Space singer will endorse him in 2024.
There have been conspiracies that Taylor Swift may endorse the current U.S. President Joe Biden in the upcoming elections. When asked about it during an interview, Biden did not hesitate once before answering.
U.S. President Joe Biden On Whether or Not He and Taylor Swift Are Working Together
There is no doubt regarding the fact that Taylor Swift has a significant influence on millions of people, young and older people alike. So, if she were to actually endorse someone for the elections, there may be a notable shift in the results based on her influence on her fans. Everyone seems to know this.
According to a survey by Monmouth University, released on February 14, nearly a fifth of the American population believes in a conspiracy theory (via ABC News) that the Bad Blood singer is part of a plan to boost President Joe Biden’s chances of winning another term in office. The survey found that 18% of American citizens
“think that a covert government effort for Taylor Swift to help Joe Biden win the presidential election actually exists.”
Pointing this out on NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers, host Seth Meyers told Biden that 18 percent of people believe that the President and Taylor Swift are “actually working in cahoots”. Donning his aviators, Joe Biden made light of the conspiracy when Meyers asked:
“Can you confirm or deny that there is an active conspiracy between you and Ms. Swift?”
To everyone’s amusement, Biden quipped:
“Where are you getting this information? It’s classified.”
Swift endorsing the President would not be less than a boon as he runs for re-election this year. Biden also happily pointed out that the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter had endorsed him in 2020. Meyers then asked him if he thought it would happen again to which the President once again had a similar answer to the other question he was asked about working with Taylor Swift.

Taylor Swift has been in the music industry for years now. She has mostly avoided making any political comments for fear of having her audience feud over any such comments. It was not until 2018 that she dipped her toes in politics when she endorsed former Tennessee Gov. Phil Bredesen, a Democrat, in the Senate race against Republican candidate Marsha Blackburn.
In 2020, Swift tweeted her disapproval of former U.S. President Donald Trump on X, writing:

She expressed her support for Biden openly with the following caption as she posted about V Magazine‘s issue featuring her on Instagram:
“I spoke to @vmagazine about why I’ll be voting for Joe Biden for president.”
Back in 2020, Biden thanked Swift for her support and will probably do it again if Swift publicly endorses him again for this year’s elections.
