Leaks need to be taken with a grain of salt, but it doesn’t stop the gaming community from keeping their hopes alive for good news. The mention of a title’s name does not mean the project is under development. So, when people saw Turok mentioned in the EpicDB leak, it created quite an uproar.

EpicDB by Epic Games launched recently, and it seems the process was not properly managed as it allowed people to access sensitive information. By searching the publisher’s name, one can see possible projects planned for the future, albeit under codenames. Some of them are unknowable, but there are some explicit mentions of Final Fantasy, The Last of Us, and Turok.

Currently, the rights to the game are owned by Universal Studios, and it seems Saber Interactive is involved with this potential project. The last game in the series was released in 2008 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation. Previous iterations of the games have been released on multiple platforms, including some of Nintendo’s.

The mere mention of the game has gotten fans foaming at the mouth.

One fan wonders if this is going to be a complete reboot of the franchise.

It’s clear that even after all this time, the fans still love Turok and are eager to see more dinosaur horror titles shortly.

Turok fans are already wondering what the new title will include, but it is not the only big-name game on the list. While The Last of Us Part 1 is already on PC, it seems the second one will be joining it soon. This is not entirely unexpected, as PlayStation is bringing older exclusives such as Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut to PC.

Several other PlayStation exclusives, such as Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, the Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition, Concord, and Until Dawn, have also been named in the leak and might be available for PC users soon.

It remains to be seen which of these projects are given public announcements, thus validating their existence. Fans are already excited just seeing the names on the list, but they should still not get their hopes up too high before any official confirmation.
