Beth Dutton is a central character in the TV series. She’s the daughter of John Dutton (Costner), the owner of the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch, which is a huge cattle ranch in Montana. Beth is known for being tough, smart, and fiercely protective of her family’s interests.

Kelly Reilly teased an exciting conclusion for Yellowstone. But she firmly shuts down the reports of Beth Dutton appearing in a spin-off – at least for now. She’s concentrating on doing a great job in the current series.
This news might bum out fans who wanted more of Beth’s character, but it means the English actress is fully committed to giving her best performance in the role we all enjoy. In an interview with Radio Times, the 46-yaer-old star said:
“I just care about finishing [‘Yellowstone’] with as much care and as much passion and as much love as I can muster to put into it. That’s what I care about. I’m sort of prepping for that now [and] that’s my tunnel vision thing that I care about most. And what goes on beyond that? There are discussions … Don’t believe everything you read. It’s just nonsense. But … let’s wait and see.”
Her recent comments leave Beth Dutton’s future up in the air, making it quite a mystery. Although a spin-off with Matthew McConaughey isn’t happening right away, talks indicate it’s not completely out of the picture. Fans will need to hang tight until the Yellowstone finale wraps up to see where things stand for Beth and the rest of the Dutton family.
Whispers of a Star-Studded Yellowstone Spin-Off
In May 2023, Deadline reported that Matthew McConaughey “is expected to be joined by handful of original Yellowstone cast members.” Last year, Taylor Sheridan himself commented on McConaughey’s arrival in an interview with THR, telling:
“He seems like a natural fit. We had a few conversations over the years, and spitballed a few ideas. Then he started watching Yellowstone and responded to it. He was like, ‘I want to do that.’ And by ‘that’ he meant diving into a raw world clashing up against the modern world. And then I said, ‘Buddy, that we can do.’”
Fans have been eager to know which original Yellowstone stars might join the Hollywood heartthrob. Looks like, there is a possibility that the roster could include three fan-favorites from the original show: Reilly’s Beth Dutton, Cole Hauser‘s Rip Wheeler, and Luke Grimes’ Kayce Dutton. While these whispers remain unconfirmed, it’s clear Sheridan is plotting something fresh for the next chapter!
