Although even prior to its screening, people involved in the project had only amazing things to say about it, people were still waiting for the audience’s reaction.

And now, crushing all doubts, and exceeding all expectations, people are claiming that the movie is undoubtedly one of the best superhero movies they have ever watched. Numerous critics to studio exhibitors who attended the event last night even claimed that not only the movie was highly appreciated, but in fact, it left enough of a mark that a lot of people even cried by the end of it.

Although the version people watched was unfinished, it certainly gave a good indication of what the final result would be. And fortunately, for the actors, filmmakers, and audience alike, it seems like it will be an absolute treat to witness onscreen.

This movie also seems to have Warner Bros. hopes come true of fusing all their genres including comedy, and horror together into a masterpiece that’s going to be talked about for many years to come. As Vue Cinemas Boss Tim Richards remarked,

“I absolutely loved it. It’s got heart, it’s got soul. You care about the characters. It’s going to be big. It’s great to see the whole Warner Bros. slate including comedies, horror, and DC. Everything that our audiences are desperate for.”

This seems to be the theme of the night, as a chain studio dine-in exhibitor also commented, “It’s one of the best DC films ever made.” Another exhibitor from Kentucky claimed,

“The audience loved it. I thought it was very good — lots of humor. Emotional at the end with some people crying. I like how they brought in Batman to support the Flash. Smart move. The movie will have legs since people will see it more than once.”

AMC CEO Adam Aron also noted their excitement for the movie claiming that they are excited for the entire range it will portray. It should be mentioned here, that the current DC co-CEO, James Gunn had also praised the movie before saying that it is “probably one of the greatest superhero movies ever made.” As such, fans’ expectations are only going higher as they wait for its June release.

Andy Muschietti praised Ezra Miller

According to reports, the movie’s director after months, finally opened his mouth about Ezra Miller claiming that Miller is one of the greatest actors he has ever worked with. He explained, “One of the best actors I’ve ever worked with. Every tool in the toolkit… [Miller] is an incredible comedian, and [has] all the action required for a big spectacle like this.”

Last year at TIFF Mary Harron also only had good things to say about the actor claiming, “[Ezra Miller] arrived on set to my amazement with a complete worked-out performance.” In fact, Miller had done enough homework that they insisted on doing their lines in French from the get-go where needed.

Harron also reflected the same sentiment as Muschietti claiming that they are, “one of the greatest actors I worked with.” This is, interesting in light of the controversies the actor was shrouded in till last year, although they did apologize and added that they are seeking help from professionals for their mental health issues.

Surprisingly, neither Ben Affleck nor Michael Keaton ever exactly commented on their experience with Miller. On the rare occasion, they did talk about the movie, Keaton only said how much fun he had on the set, and Affleck claimed that he is proud of himself for finally getting Batman right.

As a result, after such a huge appraisal, people are waiting with bated breath to see the movie that Gunn claimed is going to completely reset the DCEU.
