Hollywood star Jake Gyllenhaal is returning to the silver screen with the adrenaline-packed remake of the classic action-drama Road House. Directed by Doug Liman, the film features him as Elwood Dalton, a former UFC middleweight fighter turned reluctant bouncer at a roadhouse in the Florida Keys. Prime Video recently released the trailer of the movie, featuring an intense UFC fight scene, which was filmed last year at the UFC 285.
The behind-the-scene clip featuring the 43-year-old actor from the event has once again resurfaced and fans do not seem to like it a lot and have taken to Twitter to express their disappointment, calling it the ‘corniest’ thing ever.
Jake Gyllenhaal’s Fake UFC Fight Resurfaces
A remake of the 1989 Patrick Swayze-led action-drama Road House features Jake Gyllenhaal as a former UFC middleweight fighter. Around a year ago, the actor was spotted filming for the movie at a UFC 285 event with the UFC fighter Jay Hieron.
Recently a Twitter user shared a brief glimpse of Gyllenhaal’s faux match, stating that the UFC posted and deleted the clip yesterday. The clip features the Oscar-nominated actor in his role as Elwood Dalton, being interviewed as he says, “Come on—Man, just f*cking take him out, shut him up! Shut him up! It’s kill or be killed.”

The footage, however, has left fans disappointed, as they state, “It’s the corniest thing they’ve ever done.” Many also stated that although Gyllenhaal is a great actor, the clip certainly does not feature the best of his work.
