Rumors Of Robert Downey Jr And Scarlett Johansson’s MCU Return
Following the release of Avengers: Endgame, fans lost their minds, after the MCU sacrificed not one, but two Avengers to save the world. And surprisingly, Marvel Studios stomped on the hearts of fans by killing off two of their favorite characters, Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man and Scarlett Johansson‘s Black Widow.
Ever since then, fans have been trying out theories that could resurrect the actors, after their fall in Avengers: Endgame. Netizens even began rumors of Kevin Feige and the studio exes planning on bringing back Robert Downey Jr and Scarlett Johansson. But nothing got confirmed by Marvel Studios.
In fact, several reports indicated Marvel was considering bringing Robert Downey Jr back for another appearance as Tony Stark. This sparked curiosity and hope among fans until Kevin Feige recently addressed the rumors at the red-carpet world premiere event for The Marvels in Las Vegas.

Kevin Feige’s Response To Iron Man And Black Widow’s Return
Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Kevin Feige was asked about the rumors and the potential plans of bringing back Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man and Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow. Directly addressing the question, of “some fallen Avengers could make their return” in the upcoming Avengers movies, Feige gave a blunt response.
“No? Is that the answer?…fallen Avengers returning. I literally have not even seen that, is that a new rumor?”
Claiming how he is unaware of such bizarre rumors and theories that could bring back the fallen, Marvel Studio head Kevin Feige broke the hearts of millions with his reply. Being honest about the possibility of the star’s return, Feige completely denied Iron Man and Black Widow’s potential comeback in an Avengers movie.
“We did not discuss that at the retreat. It’s the truth. We’re doing a project with Scarlett, we love Robert, he’s a part of the family. But in terms of returning? We’ll have to see.”
Currently focused on other important MCU projects, and bringing in new cast members, Kevin Feige denied the possibility of Robert Downey Jr and Scarlett Johansson’s return.
