Amazon Prime Video built anticipation for Invincible‘s return with a new poster for Season 2, Episode 5. After Season 1 premiered on the platform in 2021, fans waited eagerly for news about Season 2.
However, the release schedule for the first four episodes was finally confirmed. Yet, fans were left in the dark about the rest of the season’s release date.
The good news is that Mark is now returning to Earth to read his father’s sci-fi books for answers to save his people. Invincible Season 2 returns on Amazon Prime on Thursday, March 14, along with episode 5.
Its remaining episodes will be released weekly after that. There’s been talk about Spider-Man showing up in Invincible season 2, but now rumors are swirling even more.

Josh Keaton, the long-time voice actor for Spider-Man, confirmed he’ll be “playing a character in one of the episodes” in the latter half of Invincible‘s second season.

In the follow-up tweet, he noted,
“I didn’t get a whole script, so I don’t even know the episode number. They got, like, NSA level security.”
It seems the voice actor from The Spectacular Spider-Man will be reprising his role as Peter Parker. Invincible co-creator Robert Kirkman wrote for Marvel Comics before, where Mark Grayson met Spider-Man in Marvel Team-Up Vol 3, #14. Their encounter was stated in Invincible, showing a rare collaboration between two comic companies.
Though there’s no truth to these claims, a trusted industry insider thinks so. He replied to a post that confirmed Keaton’s voicing in Invincible, writing “It’s what you think it is.”

Everything You Need to Know About Invincible Season 2
The superhero series Invincible focuses on Mark Grayson (the son of Omni-Man), who was initially Earth’s savior but later became a conqueror.
In an interview with Collider, creator Robert Kirkman explained the decision to split the season. He mentioned extended production timelines and the intention to give viewers a narrative break. It aims to make pivotal episodes more impactful.
Invincible Season 2 has eight episodes. The first four came out in 2023, and the next four will start releasing on March 14. A recently released poster for Invincible Season 2, part 2 hints that the short-lived villain Angstrom Levy may return.
In the poster, Mark is in his Invincible costume, preparing to strike an opponent. Upon closer inspection, Levy can be seen in the reflection of his glasses.
In the first episode of Invincible Season 2, Levy showed up as a man who could hop through different dimensions. He used his power to explore various other dimensions and gain knowledge.
Levy teamed up with the Mauler Twins to gather knowledge from their alternate selves and improve their reality. But Invincible stopped him before he finished his plan, setting up a rivalry for Season 2, part 1 to explore further. Part 2 will be released across four weeks:
- Episode 5: March 14
- Episode 6: March 21
- Episode 7: March 28
- Episode 8: April 4
