Jennifer Lopez recently made a big comeback in her career with the release of This Is Me… Now (a follow-up to her 2002 album This Is Me… Then), and a movie of the same title.
Though the film is loosely based on J.Lo’s experiences in multiple romantic relationships, it is a fictionalized narrative (presenting a semi-autobiographical story).
The singer said that both the album and the movie are very personal to her. After these two projects, the part three of the This Is Me… Now titled, The Greatest Love Story Never Told, is also out on Prime Video. It “explores her twenty year journey to self-love.”
This summer marks the beginning of the final part of the This Is Me… Now saga as she sets out on This Is Me… Now: The Tour across North America.
Recently, the mom of two has revealed instances of being manhandled. She opened up about an abusive relationship, which adds pressure on Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs (Lopez’s ex), who has recently faced s*xual assault accusations.
Jennifer Lopez Speaks Out on Abusive Relationship in The Greatest Love Story Never Told
In her new Amazon Prime Video documentary The Greatest Love Story Never Told, followed by This Is Me… Now, Jennifer Lopez talks about her past experiences and how she had to move on from them.
The topic came to light after the 54-year-old discussed shooting scenes for her song Rebound from her latest album. The song is accompanied by a video in which she dances intensely with a male dancer in a glass house.
In one scene, she and her co-star perform a choreographed dance, depicting a toxic relationship with hints of domestic violence.
After finishing filming of the scene, Lopez expressed relief, revealing how difficult it was to shoot the video. She told People:
“Being thrown around and manhandled like that is not fun. I was never in a relationship where I got beat up, thank God, but I’ve definitely been manhandled and a couple of other unsavory things…rough…disrespectful.”
The Shotgun Wedding star added:
“More than anything, it’s really a vulnerable place to be in every day,” she said. “That’s why I go to work every day, and I’m like, ‘What am I doing?’”

Diddy Faces More Allegations Amid Jennifer Lopez’s Revelations
Although Jennifer Lopez is currently married to Boston’s Prince Charming, Ben Affleck, she was previously married to Marc Anthony (2004–2014), Cris Judd (2001–2003), and Ojani Noa (1997–1998).
Besides those marriages, she’s also been in high-profile relationships with Alex Rodriguez, Drake, Casper Smart, and Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs.
According to Women’s Health, although most of these relationships involved cheating allegations, none of them resulted in legal troubles, aside being with Diddy.
Lopez and Combs were a power couple in the late 1990s and early 2000s. However, their relationship was troubled, as the Harlem-born singer faced accusations of cheating, and they became tangled in legal issues.
Recently, the Gotta Move On singer is facing a lawsuit from music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones. He claims Combs s*xually assaulted him and forced him to have s*x with s*x workers. Mr. Combs is facing his fifth lawsuit regarding s*xual assault allegations (as reported by BBC).
As per CBS News, the trouble started in November 2023 when his ex-girlfriend, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, accused him of r*ping and abusing her during their ten-year relationship. They settled that suit fast, but then three more women came forward with similar allegations over the next few weeks.
