Jennifer Lopez has been making a lot of headlines recently as she released her ninth studio album, This is Me…Now earlier this month. Her studio album is only the first part of a three-part project and the second part is a musical film titled This Is Me…Now: A Love Story which covers a fictionalized version of J.Lo and Ben Affleck’s love story.
Jennifer Lopez’s This Is Me…Now: A Love Story has a lot of cameos
This is Me…Now is Jennifer Lopez‘s ninth studio album and is also a sequel to the singer’s 3rd album, This is Me…Then. However, Jennifer Lopez has pulled out all stops considering this is her first album in the last 10 years, and made it into a three-part project. The first part is the musical album that is allegedly based on and influenced by J.Lo’s rekindled relationship with Ben Affleck.
The second part of this project is a musical movie This Is Me…Now: A Love Story that covers a fictionalized version of Ben Affleck and J.Lo’s love story. A ton of A-listers have cameo roles in the movie. According to PEOPLE, most of the A-listers appear as members of a “zodiac love council, an astrologically inspired group that meets to dissect Lopez’s love life.”
Many famous long-time friends of J.Lo, co-stars, singers, and comedians appear as members of Jennifer Lopez’s zodiac love council in the movie, and here’s a list of all the A-listers and the respective zodiac signs they are portraying.

Dave Meyers opens up about the troubles while directing the movie
Dave Meyers is one of the most established videographers in the music industry and has worked with some of the biggest singers and rappers throughout his career. Meyers was also the director of Jennifer Lopez’s This Is Me…Now: A Love Story.
In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Dave Meyers opened up about working with so many A-listers in the movie and all the problems he had to face while working with so many stars. He said,
“It was erratic getting there because we shot them one at a time over three months, and the script changed 50 times. There’s a lot of fun that we have with [them], but they actually serve the story — the character of Jen is going through something, and they’re sort of the voice of checking in on how people are feeling about these steps of her journey.”
Dave Meyers further went on to praise Jennifer Lopez for her hard work throughout the years and revealed that all of her success is hard-earned. He said,
“The film sort of captures what I was surprised by, which is that she’s vulnerable. She’s a real human being. She might be in the castle on the hill with Prince Charming, but that was hard-earned, and it wasn’t just happenstance or luck. She’s a wonderful, three-dimensional graceful Gatsby of our era. There’s not that many people that I’ve ever encountered that can carry all of that. She really is everything you think she is.”
The third part of the This is Me…Now project will be a behind-the-scenes documentary The Greatest Love Story Never Told which will cover the cover of the making of both the album and the movie. The Greatest Love Story Never Told is all set to release later this month on February 27, 2024.
