It is no secret that actor Ben Affleck is a huge fan of Dunkin Donuts. In fact, he loves it so much that he decided to appear in another Super Bowl commercial for the brand. This time, the actor tries to impress Jennifer Lopez by forming a band called The DunKings with Matt Damon and Tom Brady. The advertisement also features Jack Harlow and Fat Joe.
In one of her recent interviews, Lopez revealed the story behind the iconic commercial, which reached the second spot in USA TODAY’s 36th Ad Meter competition. Fans who loved the advertisement can hear the whole song on an extended cut shared on the Dunkin’ YouTube channel.

Singer/Actress Jennifer Lopez recently appeared on TODAY and revealed interesting details about her husband, Ben Affleck‘s Super Bowl Dunkin Donuts advertisement. The actress said,
“I know that everything he does is great, you know, because he’s a brilliant director and writer and everything. and when he came up with this whole thing, it was just, you know, hilarious. and Matt was amazing, and Tom being in it.”
The advertisement features Matt Damon and Tom Brady forming a boyband called The DunKings with Affleck, who does all this to impress his wife. Fat Joe and Jack Harlow also make brief appearances in the advertisement.
Ben Affleck wanted real people in the advertisement
Further in the interview, Jennifer Lopez revealed that Affleck wanted real people in the advertisement. This was why decided to call everyone who worked on Lopez’s latest album, to appear in the advertisement,
“It was funny, because afterwards, we were in the studio, and I had all the team who worked on the album in the studio that day. he was like, ‘I want it to be really real. like, bring everybody who made the record.’ So we’re in the studio, and we literally started ripping. I’m going to release some of those clips of us making the DunKing song.”
An extended cut of the advertisement has been released on the Dunkin’ YouTube channel so fans can hear the whole song. Don’t Dunk Away at My Heart is also out on Spotify and other major music streaming platforms.
