Euphoria star Jacob Elordi is set to appear as the first-time host of Saturday Night Live. The Lorne Michaels-created show will return to NBC on January 20, 2024. Alongside Elordi, actress and singer Reneé Rapp will also appear as the musical guest. Elordi’s hosting debut will be the first episode of the show in 2024.
Elordi recently made headlines with his role in Emerald Fennell’s thriller Saltburn. He’s been having a great year after playing the role of Elvis Presley in Priscilla. He has come a long way from the clichéd Kissing Booth franchise to establish himself as a promising actor.
Jacob Elordi To Host The Next SNL Episode
Jacob Elordi appeared as a screen extra in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. His initial acting credit was as Rooster in the Australian film Swinging Safari. While he became notable in The Kissing Booth franchise, it was his role as Nate Jacobs in Euphoria that truly propelled him in the industry.
As Hollywood enters the awards season, Elordi is eyeing nominations for his roles in Saltburn and Priscilla this year. It appears that he also caught the attention of Lorne Michaels, who invited him over to 30 Rock to host SNL. The Deep Water actor’s hosting was announced during this weekend’s episode which was hosted by SNL alum Kate McKinnon.
