Jacob Elordi appeared as a screen extra in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. His initial acting credit was as Rooster in the Australian film Swinging Safari. While he became notable in The Kissing Booth franchise, it was his role as Nate Jacobs in Euphoria that truly propelled him in the industry.

As Hollywood enters the awards season, Elordi is eyeing nominations for his roles in Saltburn and Priscilla this year. It appears that he also caught the attention of Lorne Michaels, who invited him over to 30 Rock to host SNL. The Deep Water actor’s hosting was announced during this weekend’s episode which was hosted by SNL alum Kate McKinnon.

The show is currently in its 49th season, with the likes of Pete Davidson, Jason Momoa, Emma Stone, Adam Driver, and Timothée Chalamet hosting the episodes. She’s also set to star in the role in the upcoming 2024 movie version, which will be produced by Fey and SNL creator Lorne Michaels.

Rapp has a large fan following for her role as Leighton Murray in the HBO Max series The Sex Lives of College Girls. She’s also highly active on TikTok, where she posts her candid performances. In 2022, she released her debut extended play, Everything to Everyone. Most recently, she released her full-length studio album Snow Angel featuring three singles. Her rapid rise to fame paved the way for her appearance as the musical guest on SNL.
