In a recent Instagram post, Jada Pinkett Smith provided an update on her alopecia treatment. The Matrix Reloaded actress posted two photos showing the before-and-after pics, with the latter revealing her regrowing hair. Smith mentioned that her hair is “act’n like it’s try’n a make a come back”.

However, the Hawthorne actress also admitted that she still has some trouble spots on her head. While Smith appears to be on the road to recovery from her alopecia, her friends and followers showered her with words of encouragement and support in the comment section. People wrote, “Beautiful either way”, “Radiantly beautiful through and through”, and “Gorgeous” under the 51-year-old actress’s post.

Jada Pinkett Smith Has Been Struggling With Alopecia For A Long Time Now
After her revelation about being diagnosed with the autoimmune disease, Jada Pinkett Smith received an outpouring of support. The Girls Trip actress also tried to uncover the root cause of her condition. Despite undergoing a number of medical tests, she remained unsuccessful in pinpointing the exact reason behind the disease. Smith has always attributed her disease to the stress she was under during that period.
In December 2021, the spirited Bad Moms actress took to Instagram after completely shaving her head, jokingly commenting, “Mama’s gonna have to take it down to the scalp so nobody thinks she got brain surgery or something”.

During the event, Chris Rock made a remark suggesting that Smith should be cast in a new GI Jane movie. In response to the comment, Will Smith took the stage and slapped the comedian, igniting a controversy that quickly went viral on a global scale.
