Fans have speculated Pom Klementieff’s DCU debut after James Gunn took over the studio with Peter Safran. Recently, Gunn answered a fan on Threads about their inquiry if Klementieff is joining DCU, to that, Gunn responded, “One thousand percent – a specific character that has nothing to do with Superman: Legacy.” Further, clearing the cloud of doubt, Gunn took to Threads to give a detailed update.

“Despite Pom being one of my favorite actors to work with, this is 100% not true. Not only is Pom not in the movie, but no one has ever even discussed her being in the movie, nor do I have any idea what role she would possibly play,” Gunn wrote on the platform.

Gunn might be looking for a new character that will be a perfect fit for Klementieff in the DC Universe if not Superman: Legacy. Also, the actor earlier revealed that she and Gunn have been in talks for a DC role. Here are three DCU characters the 37-year-old French star could play.

3. Ice

Gunn would likely plan Klementieff for a long stay in DCU, and for that, Justice League International’s Ice would be one of the perfect roles for the actor. Tora Olafsdotter a.k.a. Ice. Ice has Ice-Magic through which she does almost anything with ice, including weaponizing it.

Through Cryokinesis, she can generate ice at will. Now, Gunn is looking for a new DC Universe, and he might bring Ice to be one of the front runners of DC.

2. Lady Shiva

Klementieff could do wonders with martial arts grandmaster Lady Shiva, who is one of the most skilled combatants in the DC Universe. Also known as Sandra Wu-San, the DC antagonist, Lady Shiva is an assassin-for-hire.

Lady Shiva has equipped herself with several martial arts forms, including kung fu, judo, jujutsu, wing chun, capoeira, savate, karate, aikido, kobudō, taekwondo, and eskrima. As Gunn is developing the Batman project, The Brave and the Bold, Klementieff could play the character.

1. Hawkgirl

As of now, it is unclear if Gunn would go for Hawkgirl but if he develops his version of Justice League, Hawkgirl would be one wonderful addition as she has proved to be one remarkable character in the Justice League animated series. Also, Klementieff’s DC role, as many believe, would not be limited to one project, and Hawkgirl would be one of the perfect roles for the actor.

Hawkgirl has the power of flight, superhuman strength, super-acute vision, and an enhanced healing/regeneration ability. She is also equipped with advanced hand-to-hand combat skills. Fans would certainly love to see Klementieff as Hawkgirl.
