Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer are busy scripting the final season of Stranger Things, the thriller horror that has become one of Netflix’s flagship series over time due to its unique take on the supernatural in the 80s and plenty of twists and turns, which often leads to deaths of major characters.
No one is safe in 1980s Indiana, where a group of young friends search for mysterious answers after witnessing supernatural forces. The Duffer Brothers have suggested the final season of Stranger Things will be going back to its roots, leading to fans hoping to see not just old dynamics but also a few characters of yesteryears. In that regard, Jamie Campbell has given his interesting opinion.

Which Stranger Things Character Jamie Campbell Bower Wants to See Again in the Show
Stranger Things 4 sheds light on 001, the vicious mind behind all of the horrific events in Hawkins. Played by Jamie Campbell Bower, it is revealed that 001 was born Henry Creel, who realized he had psychic power, which he used to first haunt his family and then subsequently kill some of the members.
After being inadvertently locked in the Upside Down by the young El, Henry transforms into the monster, Vecna. As all main characters return to Hawkins for the final bow, it’ll be certainly interesting to see what twisted plan Vecna is building for Eleven and her group.
When Bower, whose character has been behind many deaths, was asked which character he would bring back if he could, he had an interesting answer. He revealed (via X):
“You want me to say Eddie Munson, don’t you? But I’m not gonna. I’m gonna say Chrissy! and Eddie… and Eddie.”
Grace Van Dien‘s Chrissy Cunningham died in the premiere episode of Season 4, while Eddie Munson, the character portrayed by Joseph Quinn, dies in the Season 4 finale.
Why Chrissy Cunningham’s Stranger Things Death Doesn’t Make Sense
Eddie’s death was certainly one of the most heartbreaking moments of Stranger Things, partly due to the way fans got attached to the character after initially seeing him as the troublemaker of the town. As such, he’s certainly top of the majority of the fanbase’s list of potential characters to bring back from the dead.
However, an argument could be made that Eddie at least managed to get an honorable death. He used his love of music (and the power of heavy metal) to distract Vecna’s swarm of Demobats, helping Dusting and others in the process. All this time, Eddie had full control over what he was doing, and he died knowing his death matters.
However, Chrissy’s (Grace Van Dien) death occurred too soon, and without any significant meaning. Stranger Things showrunners killed the down-to-earth cheerleader by Vecna’s curse in the first episode itself despite giving plenty of screen time to explain her background, including her trauma with her mother.
