One of the most beloved Hollywood actors, Jamie Foxx is currently battling an unknown medical condition in the hospital. This comes as a surprise, especially since many of his friends have repeatedly commented on the actor’s recovery over the last month. As a result, with no specific details of his condition being disclosed and the shattering claim from the source has kind of thrown his fans into a world of anxiety.

Jamie Foxx was admitted to the hospital in a terrible condition

Jamie Foxx was admitted to a hospital in Atlanta after a “medical complication” on 11th April while he was working on his film Back in Action. His daughter, Corinne Foxx posted an official statement on her Instagram the following day saying,

“From the Foxx Family:

“We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday, (April 11). Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.

“We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.”

Interestingly, the statement has since been deleted and the family has kept radio silence on the matter ever since. However, his friends in the industry took turns updating fans about his condition over the last month. Martin Lawrence claimed on April 20th that he heard,

“He’s doing better… My prayers go out for him every night and just wishing the best for him, one of the best that we got in Hollywood.”

Tiffany Hadish said she’s checking up on him through their mutual friends who claim he’s recovering well. In fact, Kevin Hart, too, noted earlier this month when he appeared on Logan Paul’s podcast,

“To my knowledge is there’s a lot of progression and a world of better, man. The dope thing is that he’s getting better in his situation, and you know, everybody’s prayers, everybody’s love, energy—all that stuff is seen and felt.”

These updates went a long way to ease the minds of his fans at the time, however, the recent troubling update seems to have racked up fans’ anxiety back again.

Jamie Foxx’s family preparing for worst-case scenario

Although the Foxx family has maintained radio silence on The Amazing Spider-Man actor’s condition, there have been a few updates made from Jamie Foxx’s official Instagram account this month. On May 3rd, the first post after the incident was made through his account with a caption, “Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed.”

There was another Instagram story post made after Nick Cannon revealed that he would be replacing Jamie Foxx in Beat Shazam, that noted, “Appreciate ya my boy @nickcannon See u all soon.” As a result, fans obviously thought that he might definitely be doing well if he was in a state to make those posts.

However, a source allegedly claimed in a recent interview that things might not be as they seem. The source claimed that Foxx had to apparently be revived after he had an episode that his family wants to allegedly hide.

As a result, people are assuming that the root cause of his undisclosed illness might be related to a brain issue. Implying that his condition is quite unpredictable as of now, the source noted,

“Jamie’s people are saying he’s doing OK and improving, while doctors try to get to the bottom of his problems – but he wouldn’t be in a hospital this long if he was anything close to OK.”

They further added that the family and close friends of the Ray star might even be getting prepared to face a “worst-case scenario” if things come to that. This obviously has sent the industry and his numerous fans worldwide into concern.

Although nothing is confirmed yet, the only thing that can be done from an outsider’s perspective right now seems to be praying for his well-being, and thankfully his well-wishers and fans are doing exactly that.
