In a surprisingly quick and amicable divorce proceeding, both parties walked away from their 6-year marriage and 18-year relationship. While promoting his latest project, On the Roam, Momoa mentioned not having a home. Fans doubted whether the divorce forced the actor, with a $40 million net worth, to live on the road.
Momoa and Bonet began their relationship in 2005 and welcomed their first child, Lola Iolani, in 2007. Their second child, Nakoa-Wolf, was born in 2008. They made their relationship official only in 2017 and announced their separation in January 2022.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Jason Momoa discussed in detail his passion project, On the Roam. The Game of Thrones star explores his admiration for handcraftsmen as he travels across the country to meet motorcycle fabricators, musicians, athletes, and others. During the conversation with ET, Momoa revealed that he “doesn’t even have a home right now”.
Towards the end of the interview, he shared that he is currently living on the road and has plans to travel to New Zealand to start filming his next project, Minecraft. This revelation led many to speculate that the divorce may have left the Aquaman star homeless and potentially impacted his $40 million net worth (according to Celebrity Net Worth). Momoa amassed most of his wealth from starring in movies and television series.
Momoa has been a presence on television since 2004. In 2011, he landed his breakthrough role as Khal Drago in Game of Thrones. Momoa likely earned less than the series leads Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams, who were both paid $175,000 per episode. While the series made him popular among fans, it did not contribute much to him financially.

Apart from his successful movie career, Jason Momoa also launched Manalulu Pure Water in 2019. When the Braven actor mentioned being homeless, fans began speculating whether his divorce had left him homeless. However, this may not be the case. Both Momoa and Lisa Bonet waivered their rights to “seek or receive” spousal support.
According to the court docs obtained by Fox News, “Such waiver of support is permanent and final and no court anywhere ever shall have the power or jurisdiction to award spousal support in favor of either party.” Bonet and Momoa also agreed to joint legal and physical custody of their two children. As per California law, they will officially be declared single only by July 9th.
