Roughly one year ago, actor Jeremy Renner was involved in a life-threatening snowplow accident. The actor gained worldwide recognition for his work as Clint Barton / Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Jeremy Renner talks about the good part of his snowplow accident
In a recent interview with People, actor Jeremy Renner talked about the bright side of his horrifying snowplow accident. The actor explained,
“I certainly got a lot of callousness squashed out of me by that machine. I’ve never been bitter but always maybe a little more callous, a little bit more tough and I just think those calluses are just scraped off me at this point. Literally, I feel pretty open and wonderfully sensitive and youthful. I’ve been blessed. Everything kind of just went right – Obviously, I had a lot of tenacity, I had a lot of support and a lot of reason to recover. That is really special. There’s a lot of people that don’t have as much – those things to live for.”
Throughout his recovery, his daughter, Ava Berlin Renner, remained by his side to support him. The actor welcomed Ava with ex Sonni Pacheco, in March 2013. Despite the trauma, Renner believes that the accident has changed his outlook, making him much more kind.
