With an Oscar nomination to his name, Jeremy Renner revealed a hilarious day when he was about to potentially win an Oscar. The actor stated in an interview that his house was under restoration and hence, he had to run to Starbucks to get ready for the Academy Awards Ceremony in 2010!
When Jeremy Renner Had To Change His Clothes At A Starbucks
Back in 2008, the MCU star portrayed the role of Staff Sergeant William James in The Hurt Locker. With a story depicting the sergeant being at odds with his bomb squad, the movie went on to win a whopping 6 Oscars including Jeremy Renner getting an Oscar nomination for the lead role.
Before finding wealth and fortune, Jeremy Renner revealed that during the Academy Awards ceremony, his house was under restoration. On The Howard Stern Show, the actor revealed that due to the situation at home, he had to run to a Starbucks, brush, change there, and run back home.
“I … had to brush my teeth in a Starbucks because we had no running water, as I got into a limo to go to the Academy Awards. It’s character building, those types of things.”
Well, that isn’t all since Renner has done some of the wildest things in his life. Talking about another one of Renner’s classic movies titled Tag, the actor revealed that he fell 20 feet off a stack of chairs.
When Jeremy Renner Broke Both of His Arms
With the actor recently getting involved in a snowplow accident, this isn’t the first time that he has gotten himself hospitalized. On The Howard Stern Show, the actor talked about when he was shooting his 2018 movie titled Tag and the wild things that he did during that time.
“I fell like 20 feet off a stack of chairs. I broke both of my arms, I got back up and did the stunt again.”
Despite the injury, the actor continued to work till lunch after which he went to the hospital. During his checkup, the actor realized the gravity of the situation. Renner proudly stated on the show that he returned to the sets of Tag the next day and did the same stunts again until the movie finished shooting.
