During the NDTV interview, after Brie Larson took the opportunity to be vocal about how she would use the massive MCU platform and her position for activism, Jeremy Renner rebuked the actress’s idea. While Renner could have just shown some support or even talked about something else instead, he chose to serve Larson with his opinion.
“I’m pretty accountable and responsible in my own life at any rate. Celebrity isn’t something that I use as any sort of platform to be more responsible or accountable, I suppose. It’s certainly an absolute blessing to see the joy on kids’ faces. I don’t think there is a feeling that comes close to that.”
Jeremy Renner‘s bold comments that went straight up against Brie Larson’s opinion, made fans wonder if the actor had an issue with the Room actress. Renner seemed completely unfazed by the fact that they were promoting Avengers: Endgame, and his contrasting opinion might spark rumors of a feud and impact the movie.
The actor simply chose to be vocal about his opinion after Brie Larson took the opportunity to speak about her form of activism with MCU movies. But eventually, although they both came off like oil and water during their interview, the film still became the highest-grossing movie of all time.
