Paul Rudd has been a public figure for quite some time now. He has starred in more than a few well-known projects over the years and become an extremely adored celebrity in the media. He has played all kinds of characters in many different genres and identified himself as a truly versatile and talented actor. On top of this, he has an excellent sense of humor and has one of the most heartwarming personalities in Hollywood.
The one thing that he has not been very vocal about, however, is his religious faith. Although he has revealed that he was brought up in a Jewish household, that is pretty much all that he has said on the subject.
That is why it is extremely interesting to find out what the actor had to say during a recent interview for promotion of his upcoming film, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire.
Who Would Paul Rudd Want To Meet From The Past?
Recently, Paul Rudd, Finn Wolfhard, and Mckenna Grace gave an interview with IGV Presenters for the promotion of their upcoming film, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, the most recent addition to the Ghostbusters franchise. The film follows the Spengler family, who are stuck in 1904, where they must fight ghosts from the literal past.
On theme with the film, the three actors were asked if they could go back in time and spend a day with anyone from history, who would it be? While Grace and Wolfhard were thinking about it, Rudd had his reply ready and his answer was quite surprising.
The Ant-Man actor revealed that he would like to spend a day with Jesus Christ.
Paul Rudd Has One Question For Jesus
When Paul Rudd revealed that he would want to meet Jesus Christ, his co-stars, Finn Wolfhard, and Mckenna Grace gave some very surprised reactions. It is safe to say they did not expect such an answer from the actor. Regardless, Rudd continued, saying that many may laugh at this answer or tell him not to say such a thing.
“Anyone from history, who would we chose? I know my answer. Jesus Christ. By the way, laugh all you want, and I seems like it would be a wrong think to say. He existed, we know. So wouldn’t you wanna spend some time with him and go, ‘Jesus, what’s the deal?'”
However, he seemed to want to meet Christ to ask him one simple question. Rudd revealed that he wanted to ask Jesus about what the deal was, not elaborating if he was asking the holy figure about his personal life, or the universe as a whole. This reply was followed by both Wolfhard and Grace saying that any answer they gave to the question could not top Rudd’s.
Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire will be in theaters on 22 March 2024.
