After plenty of speculation amidst Carrey’s plan to retire from acting, it was confirmed in early 2024 that he would appear in the threequel.
In August 2024, it was revealed with the third installment’s trailer that Carrey would additionally be playing the role of Professor Gerald Robotnik, Ivo’s Grandfather in the upcoming film.
