Bobby Lee shared a rough Hollywood experience on the Joe Rogan Experience, recalling a director who insultingly called him p*nface g*ok. Without naming the director, he revealed the use of derogatory language and disrespectful remarks towards other actresses. He then continued telling an experience related to Michael Bay. Lee said:

“I had Michael Bay do something to me. He grabbed my face aggressively. So, I booked this commercial with Eric Stonestreet. So, we played Tower Boys with Kim Cattrall. It was a Pepsi commercial I think and she was in this bathtub and I had never acted before. I didn’t learn how to act. I don’t know jib camera is or a Mark or any of that sh*t. So, I had this scene where I had to bring these towels into a… You know, he was like stacked that was a joke, and he would go, ‘Your face needs to be in the light. And I go, oh, I don’t know. So, I tried to tilt, every take ‘the light, the light’ and then by the eighth one he came from behind the thing and he grabbed my face like this, and he goes here. I like tears…”

To this, Rogan said:

“Right well that seems like you weren’t really putting your face the light and he was freaking out because they could only do that take so many times, I’m kind on team Bay on that.”

The comedian also shared an experience when he made a mistake in a scene. The director gathered everyone, including the cameraman and wardrobe team, in a circle. He instructed them to point their fingers at Lee and asked them to chant, “You’re the worst actor on the planet.” Tears welled up in his eyes, and a wardrobe lady sympathetically said, “I’m so sorry,” to him.
