Ana De Armas is all set to star in John Wick’s spin-off, Ballerina. One aspect of the franchise that is much loved is the epic fight scenes that Keanu Reeves so perfectly plays through. Her character was first introduced in John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum. While her movie will be the fifth installment of the franchise after the fourth part of the series, it would include scenes fans didn’t know they needed until they saw them.

Rooney was first played by a ballet dancer but the role quickly became Ana De Armas’s after her spin-off was announced. Filming stunts have often left her bruised but one scene, in particular, made the actress not complain, especially after the intensity and professionalism Keanu Reeves portrays alongside her.

Ana De Armas And Keanu Reeves Will Fight Against Each Other

On an episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the actress hinted about a fight scene she had with Keanu Reeves. While usually, Ana De Armas would complain about all the difficult fight scenes she had to do, fighting against Reeves completely changed her mind. The way he was fighting and the professionalism he showed made her confirm the fact that he is indeed the best there is.

“We’ve been in Prague filming for four months. We still have one more month to go. And I’m in pain. You know, my body, my back, everything hurts. I’m complaining, I’m sore, I’m bruised. Bond was fifteen minutes. This is a whole movie, another level. But the other day, Keanu and I were rehearsing our very difficult stunt scene, and this man is just rolling and throwing me and doing crazy stunts. And I’m like — I can’t complain anymore. Because he is doing it! He truly is the best.”

It is no doubt that Armas is an extraordinary actress who can both take a punch and hit the enemy back harder. To see Rooney and John Wick go head to head against each other has made the fans anticipate the movie even more.

Naturally, hearing this news has made fans extremely excited for Ballerina and what the actors have to bring to the big screen. They have been conflicted as to who they want to see winning the fight. While on one hand, fans are rooting for it to be a gruesome fight sequence, they wish to see John Wick win in the end.

Another idea is to see Rooney defeat Wick after a series of wins for the character. However, that does seem unlikely because the fight is between the Ballerina and the Boogeyman. While we are yet to see the true potential of the former, the latter is a master when it comes to fights. Especially if it involves a pencil.
