His role in John Wick as the Boogeyman, an elite assassin that can get the job done no matter how hard and challenging the target is to eliminate is held in high regard by many fans and critics alike, calling it his finest performance since The Matrix.

With his film series gaining so much popularity amongst audiences, Lionsgate decided to create a spin-off of the franchise with Ana de Armas leading the project named Ballerina to let people further explore the world of assassins. And along with this spin-off, comes the news that The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus, who also happens to be a prime candidate alongside Reeves for Marvel Studios to star as Ghost Rider, will be joining the crew of Ballerina.

When Marvel Studios revealed that they were bringing back Ghost Rider to incorporate him into the MCU, fans were quick to jump on the possibilities of who could become the next emissary from hell. Many names were thrown at the wall, but only Norman Reedus and Keanu Reeves were the ones that stuck. Seeing as both of these superstars are absolutely great in their skills and methods, it is hard, even for Marvel Studios to pick one from the other.

Meanwhile, it seems like both of these actors have found themselves becoming co-stars in the upcoming John Wick Spin-Off Ballerina, where Reedus is said to have joined the crew of the project alongside Ana de Armas, and Reeves is also said to make an appearance as the Baba Yaga in a cameo.

This news is being well-received by fans of the film and the actors alike. Hoping to see two candidates from Marvel Comics’ most well-known and loved biker from hell is certainly something to look forward to in ways of how they interact with each other and how their relationship with each other progress in their professional lives when they finally face each other for the role in the MCU.

Reedus and Reeves are so close to reviving the role of Ghost Rider to its former iconic glory that all Marvel Studios can do right now are let the casting directors decide who is a better fit for the role. In the meantime, all we can do is hope that our favorite star bags the role.
