Jonathan Majors, the actor known to the world as Kang the Conqueror in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has found himself on the other side of the law. While bringing the world a variant of Kang in the first season of Loki, people wished to see more of the actor.

As per the recent controversy and allegations, people were skeptical about Majors’ reprisal in the upcoming second season of Loki. According to reports, the Creed III actor has been confirmed to reprise his role as Kang in the second season of Loki.

Jonathan Majors Will Indeed Return For Loki Second Season

Jonathan Majors, known for portraying He Who Remains in the first season of Loki has been reportedly confirmed for a reprisal in the second season of the show. In recent reports, the actor has been booked for alleged crimes of assault charges and aggravated harassment.

Following the recent developments, people were skeptical whether the actor will be picked up for future roles in the MCU since scenarios of defamation and immoral support might be the downfall of Marvel Studios which seemed to be failing during Phase 4 of the MCU. As per Variety, Majors has been confirmed to reprise his role in the second season of Loki. A statement released by his represtatives said,

“Jonathan Majors is completely innocent and is provably the victim of an altercation with a woman he knows. We are quickly gathering and presenting evidence to the District Attorney with the expectation that all charges will be dropped imminently.” 

The statement further read that an arrest was mandatory since the NYPD was invested and the incident took place when the woman was being rushed to a hospital. The NYPD was invested by this point and thus a mandatory arrest was made. In the end, however, it was stated that Jonathan Majors has been confirmed for a reprisal of his role as a variant of Kang in the second season of Loki.

For recruitment in the United States Army, a media campaign was organized for the people. Majors was the narrator in two of the ads that were used for recruitment. According to an official statement from the Army’s Enterprise Marketing Office, Jonathan Majors’ narrated ads have been pulled down till the time he has been proven innocent or guilty.

“[Majors is] innocent until proven guilty, prudence dictates that we pull our ads until the investigation into these allegations is complete.”

With fame and popularity on his side, the The Harder They Fall actor portrayed the role of Kang the Conqueror in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania that kicked off Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Some people even state that the timings of these allegations seem to coincide with the rise of Majors’ fame hinting that it all may be a sham to defame the Lovecraft Country actor.

Jonathan Majors’ Kang the Conqueror can be seen in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania in select theaters around the world.
