Jonathan Majors’ lawsuit has reached a verdict. The MCU star’s ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari filed a lawsuit against Majors’ accusing the actor of assault. As per most recent reports, Majors’ has been found guilty.
After a short trial, a jury in New York found Majors guilty of two misdemeanor charges of assault and harassment against the British choreographer and his former girlfriend, Jabbari.

Jury Convicts Jonathan Majors
As per reports, Grace Jabbari testified in court, revealing that she found romantic texts on Jonathan Majors’ phone from other people when they were together. As she wanted a clear picture of it attempting to grab the phone, Majors twisted her arm, and she was in “excruciating pain.” Further, Jabbari said that Majors had struck her in the head. Majors faced four misdemeanor charges for misdemeanor assault, aggravated assault, and harassment, leading to facing up to a year in prison.
In a statement released on Monday (via The Guardian), Manhattan’s district attorney Alvin Bragg said that the evidence against Majors was plausible to the jury to reach a verdict.
“A cycle of psychological and emotional abuse, and escalating patterns of coercion. Today, a jury determined that pattern of abuse and coercion culminated with Mr Majors assaulting and harassing his girlfriend,” Bragg said.
Appearing before the jurors, Jabbari also said that she had been silent for long because she loved Majors. “I felt like I had to keep a lot of secrets from everyone,” Jabbari added. “I felt very isolated. It was confusing. I felt scared of him but quite dependent on him.” Reportedly, Majors will be convicted in early February for one year in prison.

Following the verdict, Majors’ attorney Priya Chaudhry said that the jury was not in line to believe Jabbari’s testimony, but eventually, the verdict went in her favor which, as Chaudhry said, was disappointing.
“We are disappointed, however, that despite not believing Ms Jabbari, the jury nevertheless found that Mr Majors was somehow reckless while she was attacking him. Mr Majors is grateful to God, his family, his friends, and his fans for their love and support during these harrowing eight months,” Chaudhry said (via The Guardian).
Majors’ career was elevated further following his MCU debut as Kang the Conqueror, who appeared in two seasons of Loki and the movie Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. The 34-year-old is also set to lead Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and a few more potential projects. Following his verdict, Marvel has dropped Majors from the studio. As of now, it is unclear if Marvel will recast for Kang or alter the timeline with another supervillain.
