The most prominent name is none other than Jonathan Majors, who was previously cast as Kang the Conqueror in the MCU. Majors’ character was supposed to play the key role in Avengers 5 and 6. However, Majors has been sacked by Marvel Cinematic Universe due to his off-screen controversies.

Speaking of which, another allegedly troubled actor is reportedly all set to make his return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as part of What If…? season 3.

Marvel’s Namor Reportedly to be Once Again Played by Tenoch Huerta in What If…? Season 3

Tenoch Huerta portrayed Namor in the 2022 flick Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Huerta’s performance in the film received great praise from fans around the globe.

However, in June 2023, Huerta was accused of s*xual misconduct, and since then, there has been a cloud of doubt over the Mexican actor’s future in the MCU. Well, according to @MutantsUpdate on Twitter, Huerta is all set to return to portray the character in an upcoming Marvel series.

Marvel Studios’ What If…? is one of the most beloved animated shows out there. The show has a promising concept as it focuses on the alternate timelines in the MCU.

Anyway, the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever star is reportedly one of the actors reprising their roles in the third season of the above-mentioned show. As of now, the s*xual misconduct allegations against him haven’t been proven.

The actor was accused by María Elena Ríos in a series of tweets back in June 2023. Ríos is a Mexican saxophonist and even called the Black Panther 2 star a predator in her tweets, as per a report by the Los Angeles Times.

Huerta denied the allegations made against him.

Majors was arrested in March 2023 on assault and harassment charges despite trying to maintain his innocence for months. Following the arrest and later conviction, Majors was unsurprisingly sacked by Marvel as the studio entered 2024 without their main antagonist for future Avengers movies.
