MAPPA Studios Tries to Undo a Major Mistake for Jujutsu Kaisen Season Two

Jujutsu Kaisen season two featured Gojo Satoru’s backstory. Fans were obviously excited about it, but MAPPA Studios somewhat disappointed fans with lackluster animation during the arc.

As a result, many have demanded that MAPPA Studios fix the animation for the new season. Well, MAPPA heard the plea from fans as they released episodes 25 to 28 on Blu-ray. Thus fixing the animation for Gojo’s backstory.

The reason behind the bad animation was due to the fact that the episodes were dimmed and ghosted. The anime had to adhere to Japanese public safety guidelines, thus making the edits initially.

What’s next in Jujutsu Kaisen Season Two?

The second season of the popular series will feature a total of 23 episodes. So far, 13 episodes have been released, with each episode better than the other. As of now, fan-favorite Gojo Satoru has been sealed in episode 10 of the anime.

On the other hand, protagonist Itadori Yuji went toe-to-toe against Choso in episode 13 of season two. It was an epic battle of wits and brute force combined between the two characters.

The episode finished with Yuji getting destroyed by Choso after the latter tanked a huge left-hand punch by the former. Sukuna showed his disappointment in Yuji for losing to a “nobody.”

For a minute, it felt like the end of Itadori Yuji, but the anime teased a new storyline in the post-credit scene. Following Yuji’s defeat, two girls investigated his body and confirmed that he was still breathing.
