Jujutsu Kaisen revolves around a world where entities called Cursed Spirits exist and Sorcerers fight them. One of the series’s main cast is Megumi Fushiguro, a first-year student at Jujutsu High. He is considered a Grade 2 Sorcerer, but Gojo stated he has a lot of potential. He can control his cursed energy with the Ten Shadows Technique, which allows him control over various Shikigami. However, among all the Shikigami he has, which is the strongest one, and what powers do they possess?
1. Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga
Starting off the list with Megumi’s strongest shikigami, Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga. It acquired the name after the divine entities from Japanese Buddhism. Among all the Shikigami in the Ten Shadow Technique, Mahoraga is the most versatile. It can effortlessly adapt its behavior based on the environment. If the opponent uses a specific attack on Mahoraga, then it can never be defeated using the same move again. It wields a weapon called the Sword of Extermination, which is made in a certain way to destroy curses and cursed spirits.
2. Divine Dogs
Divine Dogs are two Wolves that look similar to each other, but one is black while the other is white. They were introduced in the first chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen. However, the white counterpart was brutally slaughtered by a Special Grade Cursed Spirit. However, Megumi was able to summon it in a fused form with its’ twin. This was called the Divine Dog: Totality, and this Shikigami is powerful enough to fight against enemies like Hanami.
3. Great Serpent
The Great Serpent is probably the largest Shikigami in Megumi’s arsenal. However, it was defeated by Sukuna. The most significant power of this entity was the massive curse destruction skills. The summoning time for the serpent had no almost no latency. This speed, combined with its strength, made it a formidable Shikigami.
4. Nue
Nue is one of the quickest characters in the series. It appears like a massive bird with a creepy mask and teeth resembling human jaws. Nue is quite useful as Megumi can use it as a quick transportation to get his allies out of danger. This Shikigami had almost died in several instances but still continued to survive.
5. Max Elephant
This Shikigami requires a lot of Cursed Energy to be summoned. Max Elephant is like a last-minute resort for Megumi. This entity can shoot a blast of water from its trunk and doesn’t solely depend upon brute force. The colossal size of the beast is quite handy as we saw during Megumi’s battle with Awasaka.
