The teaser trailer features Fishstick and Peely doing some hand puppets against a brick wall. To anyone who read or watched Jujutsu Kaisen, you would know the hand puppets are associated with Megumi’s powers. Because they’re doing the dog and elephant gestures, it’s calling back to his powers of Divine Dogs and Max Elephant which appeared in the first season of Jujutsu Kaisen. Soon after, once the shadow puppets become similar to how they look in the anime, the brick wall cracks open to reveal the Jujutsu Kaisen cast in this Fortnite Crossover.

While the teaser didn’t show everything that comes with the bundle, we’ll learn officially in the coming days. In the meantime, the leak did show what Megumi, Nobara, and Gojo include in their bundle. They all come with a backbling while Megumi and Nobara have a pickaxe. Furthermore, Megumi includes some emotes too, doing the hand puppet gestures as seen in the teaser trailer. The leak unfortunately doesn’t show what Itadori will come with but we’ll see soon enough.

Fortnite Crossover History with Anime

It’s been almost two years since Fortnite’s first anime collaboration. It all started with Naturo in November 2021, similar to Jujutsu Kaisen featuring the main cast of four characters. They would later add to the Naruto character roster by including side characters/villains like Gaara and Itachi.

9 months later, Fortnite did a collaboration with Dragon Ball Super and made a whole event around it. Not only did the player base get four new skins but additional gear, islands, and the iconic Kamehameha was an mythic item in the game. Fortnite would later add Gohan and Piccolo for the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie. Later on, by popular demand, fan favorite Goku Black would appear in the shop as a stand alone character skin.

My Hero Academia would be the next Fortnite Crossover in anime as they also introduced new skins and the One For All power as an in-game mythic item. Lastly, Attack on Titan would collaborate with Fortnite. While Mikasa and Levi Ackerman were purchasable through the shop, Eren would only be available through the Battle Pass in exclusive Eren Jaeger Quests. In addition, the ODM Gear was added as a mythic item for faster travel.

How much are the Jujutsu Kaisen Fortnite Crossover Skins?

No official pricing is given yet for the Jujutsu Kaisen Fortnite Crossover. The leak did price the Megumi and Nobara at 2,500/2,300 V-Bucks respectively. Judging by how previous anime Fortnite Crossover collaborations went, the price for everything could be 5,000 V-Bucks or more. If this is the case, purchasing the 5,000 V-Bucks bundle ($31.99) should do the trick. If you want to be safe and have more V-Bucks left over for future Fortnite Crossover events, 13,500 V-Bucks ($79.99) should be more than enough for the Jujutsu Kaisen skins and more.
