After the era of Big 3, many fans thought it would be impossible to replicate their success and reach their popularity like them; however, Gege Akutami’s magnum opus, Jujutsu Kaisen, proved them severely wrong by providing the audience with a compact yet powerful story filled with amazing backstories, gut-wrenching plot twists, and fights that will go down in history.
One of the characters who played a crucial role in making the story so interesting is Kenjaku. While fans often debate who the main antagonist is in the story, it is undeniable that Kenjaku is one of the most well-written antagonists ever.
However, the master and devious craftsman met his end at the hands of Jujutsu High Prodigy Yuta Okkotsu. Despite his head being severed, a theory has started to gain popularity among the millions of fans that state that Kenjaku might be alive as he could have transferred his soul into Tengen.
Kenjaku might not be fully dead in Jujutsu Kaisen
Jujutsu Kaisen boasts a plethora of well-written characters. Gege Akutami made sure to write each character with extreme attention to detail. It is one of the few series where each character can have a spin-off based on their profound lore.
Among the many well-written characters, one of the most widely known is Kenjaku, an expert manipulator and a cunning strategist, as demonstrated during the culling game. He has captured the attention of the masses and is often deemed the Aizen Sosuke of the new generation.
No matter how the story molded itself, one thing stayed consistent: things were happening according to the plan of Kenjaku. He desires to combine humans and curses with Master Tengen to create a single, all-encompassing cursed entity.
Sadly for him, he was a shonen antagonist and due to the norms of the villains losing, Kenjaku met his demise at the hands of Yuta, whom fans often call a bush camper. However, it looks like he hasn’t left the story, as a popular theory by JotheoriesJJK suggests he might have transferred his soul into Tengen’s fetus due to his soul-manipulating abilities.
Listen.
If Kenjaku can manipulate souls as he did with Yuji’s in the womb, then surely now Kenjaku has found a way to insert his soul into the tengen fetus.
I am sure we will see Kenjaku’s mind again in the merger.#jjk257 pic.twitter.com/8b2eTNa1hN

Now, many might call this coping, but it is not impossible to fathom. We are well aware of how advanced and developed Kenjaku’s thinking was, so to believe that he couldn’t have imagined his death seems a little unbelievable.
Another piece of evidence that supports this theory is that Kenjaku already knows how to transfer souls efficiently and is not a novice at it either. With events planned out, it seems a stretch that the devious individual wouldn’t make a comeback to the story.
As of now, this is all just a theory and the final factor that decides whether this theory comes to reality is Gege Akutami.
What’s happening in Jujutsu Kaisen?
With Jujustu Kaisen hovering near its end, the series has made its audience grab their sheets in excitement as the battle between the Jujutsu sorcerers and the King of Curses continues to rage on. Each chapter has managed to get the viewers more immersed in the story.
Many of the audience members made jokes about Itadori Yuji, but it seems that he is now determined to answer all his critics. Itadori Yuji has finally awakened, and he released a massive Black Flash on Ryomen Sukuna, shocking him to the core.
All the remaining characters in the franchise who can still fight are currently engaged in a death battle with Ryomen Sukuna; however, the King of Curses is dog-walking them, as no real challenger exists after the demise of Gojo.
It would be interesting to see how Gege Akutami plans to end this illustrious series, irrespective of the method they choose, it’s going to be amazing.
