What’s particularly unexpected and intriguing is that this new series, which has only five chapters so far, is already ranked second in the platform’s “hottest” area, overtaking Jujutsu Kaisen.

Kagurabachi is a Japanese manga series written by Takeru Hokazono. It has been serialized since September 2023. The plot centers around Chihiro Rokuhira, the son of a renowned blacksmith capable of manufacturing unique swords, who seeks brutal vengeance against a gang of sorcerers with the help of a magically strengthened blade crafted by his father before being killed. The fundamental topic of the novel is vengeance, which is inspired by a sad event on a “dark day soaked in blood.” When Manga Plus updated their hottest list this week. Kagurabachi is a fighting manga with a supernatural tone, featuring magic, enchanted swords, and a secret society of sorcerers that live among the common public. Kagurabachi has shown extraordinary development and has dominated readership on Manga Plus since its debut last month.
