As the release date of Kaiju No. 8 approaches, more announcements are surfacing. This upcoming anime has caused a lot of curiosity in the otaku community due to its unique plotline and Crunchyroll’s quick move of snatching it up.
Just last week, Crunchyroll announced the simultaneous dub release of the anime in April and fans have not seen a chill moment on social media sites since. Even the English dub cast for Kaiju No. 8 has been announced.
Who is the English dub voice actor for Kafka in Kaiju No. 8?
Kafka, the protagonist of the Kaiju No. 8 anime, is voiced by Masaya Fukunishi. His English dub voice actor is Nazeeh Tarsha.
Fukunishi is a well-known Japanese voice actor who has played uncountable roles over the years. Some of his memorable works are playing Yuto Kosaku in Haikyu!! season 5, Ryuu in Megalobox 2, and Draken in Tokyo Revengers.
Needless to say, these are huge roles that Fukunishi has done justice to. Thus, when Nazeeh Tarsha was assigned to dub the same character played by Fukunishi, it was bound to be intimidating. Tarsha tweeted about the privilege of the position and hoped that he did the role justice.
It is with extreme privilege I get to announce that I'm the English voice of Kafka in #KaijuNo8! Whether you enjoy subs or dubs, we all worked very hard to bring this to show to life and hope you enjoy! @MasayaFukunishi gives an incredible performance and I hope I did it justice. pic.twitter.com/pgRvrnlIXt
