Jim Parsons was a huge name, at the 2017 SAG Awards, receiving nominations for both The Big Bang Theory in the category of Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series, and Hidden Figures for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture. He was truly having a gala time at the event.

The audience received an added bonus when he came on in an interview alongside his co-star and longtime friend, Kaley Cuoco, at the beginning of the event. The duo truly excels in conducting a lively interview, and true to their style, they didn’t disappoint here either. The light banter and teasing between them escalated into a full-blown argument, all in good fun, when Cuoco discovered that Parsons would be ditching The Big Bang Theory group for the entire night.

In the E! News red carpet interview, Parsons tried to defuse the situation as quickly as possible by saying,

 “No. I wasn’t only part of that decision. You shh up. You can’t sit in both, this is so awkward.”

 “Do you hear this? He just moves right into the Hidden Figures table. OK! This is news to me, if you can’t tell.”

It was later revealed that Parsons had already informed the cast members a week prior to the event about his sitting situation, and Cuoco’s actions were simply her way of teasing her best friend just before the big event.
