“The truth, we will never know unless the recovery does not progress as it should, because they will have no choice,” one of the panelists on the show stated. Discussion among Gracia and the panelists on the show also suggested that “her life was in great danger.”
They further stated, “The concern at the Royal House was palpable. The postoperative process became complicated, and her life had to be saved.” The show further highlighted the seriousness of the situation noting that Prince William appeared genuinely worried about his wife.
“The only thing that is a real fact is the worried look on her husband’s face,” one of the members commented. Prince William reportedly did not undertake any official duties during her time in the hospital and has also postponed public engagements to be by his wife’s side during the initial days of her home recovery.
Royal Family’s Official Statement on Kate Middleton’s Health Condition
The Royal Palace disclosed the news of Kate Middleton’s surgery in a statement released on January 17, 2024, stating that she was “admitted to the hospital” for a planned surgery. It also remarked that the surgery was successful, and the Princess of Wales is expected to stay in the hospital for ten to fourteen days and is not expected to return to royal duties until at least Easter.
“According to current medical advice, it is unlikely that she will return to her public duties until after Easter,” the statement said. Kensington Palace later released another statement sharing that Middleton has returned to her Windsor home, where she will continue her recovery from the surgery. It also said, “She is making good progress.”
