Ke Huy Quan, who played OB in Tom Hiddleston’s Loki Season 2, has been a standout performer. Quan, best known for his role as Indiana Jones’ sidekick Short Round in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, proves how good he is in the MCU’s first-ever second season of a TV show.

Meanwhile, people found one reference from the Indiana Jones movie in Tom Hiddlestone’s Loki Season 2. At the age of 12, Ke Huy Quan delivered a remarkable performance in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.

Ke Huy Quan’s One Indiana Jones Reference in Tom Hiddleston’s Loki Season 2

The addition of Ouroboros—or, O.B., the mysterious and powerful new TVA character in Loki Season 2 was a delight for fans. OB, who works in the repairs and advancement department, for help, is smart, funny, and someone who knows his way around the TVA.

Though his role here in Loki Season 2 is short, some fans discovered one small reference he made to Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.

As in one scene Loki S2, the cap is shown, which Quan wore in the Indiana Jones movie. And people think, since both the franchise is now owned by Disney, this might be a tribute to that Indiana Jones movie.

Ke Huy Quan, the Oscar Winner Comments on Joining the MCU in Season 2 of Loki

Ke Huy Quan, who won an Academy Award for his role as Waymond Wang in Everything Everywhere All at Once talks about the moment he got the call from MCU head Kevin Feige to appear in Season 2 of the studio’s beloved series, Loki.

“Well, first of all, when I decided to become an actor, again, joining the MCU was at the top of my wish list. So I could not believe it.”

He was driving when the phone rang and recalls the moment in an interview with Collider:

“Kevin Feige called me and asked me to be a part of the MCU, and when I read the character, it was amazing. I fell in love with O.B. right on the pages. It was so well written and defined. And I knew who he was right away.”

Also, Quan stated in an interview with the Los Angeles Times how Tom Hiddleston welcomed him with a big hug and he quickly was able to feel like a member of the Loki family.
