The John Wick star and Bullock worked together in their early days to give one of their biggest blockbusters, Speed. After the massive success of the film, the duo reunited for another film.
As the two A-listers reunited for The Lake House, Bullock shared about the sparks between them during their shoot and their potential relationship.

Sandra Bullock opens up on potential relationship with Keanu Reeves
When the actor worked together for the first time in the 1994 film Speed, Bullock had developed a crush on him. However, she was not aware of Reeves’ crush on her, hence she never acted on her desire. The two stars remained good friends for years but never dated. Bullock shared in an interview that she felt if they got together it would impact their friendship. However, she was still not wary of the possibility of a happy relationship with Keanu Reeves.
The Lost City star shared with Esquire,
“Keanu’s a guy who, I feel like, is friends with every woman he’s ever dated. I don’t think there’s anyone who has something horrible to say about him. So maybe we could have survived. I don’t know. But we didn’t have to survive anything. We just get to grow up together on parallel roads and tip our hats and meet for a dinner and try to work together.”
Bullock has doubts about the difficulty of confronting the actor if their hypothetical relationship failed,
“And the longer time goes on, the more in awe I am of the human being. Would I have been able to say that if he had dumped me and made me angry? Probably not.”
Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves’ film Speed was a massive critical and commercial success. It grossed over $350 million worldwide.
Sandra Bullock teased Keanu Reeves did The Lake House for an ulterior motive
Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves were brought together again after the unimaginable success of their first film. The film was a fantasy romance story written by David Auburn and directed by Alejandro Agresti.
Reportedly, The Proposal star only said yes to the film because the director suggested that her co-star might be The Matrix star. Hence, after she agreed, Reeves was cast in the film.
However, the actress was surprised when she realized that Reeves had another motive for being part of this film.
Bullock told Black Film,
“Well, what I just discovered in the other room, I think that Keanu just wants to make out with me. It’s been too long for him I think. He needs it. He needs me.”
The 2006 film, The Lake House grossed $114.8 million worldwide.
Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock never dated, however, the two actors remain good friends to date.
