She further continued that she felt quite uncomfortable shoving her hand down there to fix the problem while Denzel and Pauletta Washington were traveling with her! Kate Beckinsale hilariously recalled that she quietly panicked in the back of the car. In an interview, the actress revealed that after stepping out of the car, she told Keanu Reeves and Robert Sean Leonard what had happened. The two quickly stepped in to fix the wardrobe malfunction and Beckinsale couldn’t have been more proud of both gentlemen.

“I walked out onto the biggest red carpet of my life and whispered to Keanu and Robert Sean Leonard what had happened. In this picture I am holding the front gusset down and the two of them are holding the back gusset. Absolute legends who may not even have fully understood the physics of what was happening or even heard the word ‘gusset’ before but both jumped in to save me no questions asked.”

Being the gentlemen, Keanu Reeves and Robert Sean Leonard indeed saved the day for Kate Beckinsale and the red carpet event continued normally.
