Originally titled Spider-Man: Freshman Year, the upcoming MCU series will feature another version of the origin tale of the famous web-slinger. Set in an alternate timeline, but within the MCU, the series will explore Peter Parker’s origin story to becoming Spider-Man.

However, instead of Tony Stark being Parker’s mentor, the series will feature Norman Osborn as the mentor. While Tom Holland won’t be voicing the character, Hudson Thames will be returning to voice the character after voicing him in What If…? (see  U.S. Copyright Office Public Records System).

Expected to feature several iconic characters like Daredevil, Doctor Octopus, Tarantula, and more, the series will also replace Parke’s friendship with Ned Leeds and Michelle Jones-Watson. Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man is expected to be released in late 2024 or early 2025.
