Now, she is set to star in and executive produce a groundbreaking new BBC documentary on the two-time Academy-winning actress Elizabeth Taylor.

Kim Kardashian to Star and Executive Produce New Elizabeth Taylor Docuseries

The television celebrity turned business mogul and now-turned-actor, Kim Kardashian will executive produce this BBC docuseries alongside Kari Lia and Hamish Fergusson, directed by James House for Passion Pictures. She will also feature in the series.

As for what fans can expect, reports suggest the series promises to shed Elizabeth Taylor‘s life story in a new light with never-before-heard tales and candid stories. But the lingering question remains, Why Kim Kardashian? It turns out she has a personal connection with the legendary figure, having conducted Taylor’s last interview before her passing.

Regarding her involvement, Kardashian said in a BBC press release statement,

“Elizabeth Taylor was unapologetically herself, a fighter. She is proof that you can keep evolving and changing and have different chapters in your life — and she paved the way for all of us who came after her with that blueprint.”

Alongside the SKIMS owner, the docuseries will also feature fellow actress Dame Joan Collins. Other contributors will include her school friend Margaret O’Brien, close friend Carole Bayer Sager, and leading scientist Dr. Anthony Fauci, who worked alongside Taylor in the fight against AIDS.
