March is officially here, and with each new day, the release date of Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire is getting closer. With all the anticipation for the movie at an all-time high, a new teaser has been released, in which there is action as one might expect from the MonsterVerse film.
In this new teaser, Kong is seen returning to the big screen to face Earth’s newest threat- another primate named Skar King, which will be serving as the new antagonist in Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. This recently revealed teaser shows the two of them fighting each other and explores a new dynamic with the other titular monster. Godzilla Kong is seen catching a ride on the other kaiju. Fans are having a field day with the latter detail.

King Kong has been in the cinematic universe for nine decades since the release of the original movie with the creature in 1933. That being said, including Skar King in this newest film installment of the MonsterVerse certainly brings forth a new dynamic of the character that has not been seen before.
In the new teaser, Godzilla is seen emerging from the ice in its upgraded design. While Kong and Godzilla have been seen fighting with each other in the previous installment, the two seem to be joining forces as showcased in the new teaser uploaded by Warner Bros. Pictures on YouTube in which King Kong hitches a ride on Godzilla’s back as they charge into an epic monster battle.

There is a plethora of things that fans have got to say about this. That being said, the excitement for the release of Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire is still quite high.

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire is a sequel to 2021’s Godzilla x Kong, which was a box-office and streaming success upon its release despite the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the box office.
Adam Wingard has returned as the producer of the movie with Legendary Pictures producing and Warner Bros. Pictures distributing it. Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, and Kaylee Hottle are reprising their roles from the previous movie. Dan Stevens has joined the cast as the lead actor in the movie.
Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire is going to face a significant amount of competition with the release of movies like Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire and Kung Fu Panda 4. However, the MonsterVerse movies have always proven to be a hit with cinema-goers, and this time is expected to be no different.
Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire will stomp in the cinemas on March 29.
