“I used to have a huge thing for Harrison Ford. And Amy Adams, man, she’s my favourite actress. I have a total crush on her because I got to work with her too – she’s awesome.”

While she seemed to have enjoyed working with the Man of Steel actress, the latter had different thoughts. Elsewhere, she revealed that she found her intimidating.

While the Spencer actress was fond of her senior, Adams on the other hand, was a bit intimidated by her co-star. However, the reason is quite different as she revealed she was wary of collaborating with teenagers in general.

She told E! News,

“I guess I’m getting to the point in my life where I’m suspicious of teenagers and I’m intimidated a little bit.”

Stewart was 20 years old at the time, which made her slightly away from the teenager category but the six-time Oscar nominee was well aware of the fact. She revealed,

“She’s not a teenager, but she’s close enough and I was very intimidated.”

Even though working with the Still Alice actress was a daunting experience for her, she revealed herself as a true fan of the Twilight book series. She recalled,

“I told [Stewart] I read the books and she was like, ‘You’ve read the books?’ She couldn’t compute it, but you have to imagine I was playing this sort of bedraggled drug addict, so she was like, ‘That doesn’t seem like the audience.’ But she was incredibly gracious and lovely.”

The Vice actress in another interview praised her younger co-star for her acting prowess whom she perhaps noticed since her work in the 2002 movie, Panic Room. She once told MTV via Just Jared

“I knew she had chops. I’ve seen her since Panic Room. I thought she was fantastic. I feel like she’s grown up onscreen. She was great in Into the Wild. The girl’s got some chops.”

Apart from Adams and Stewart, the 2012 adventure drama movie featured an ensemble cast including Garrett Hedlund, Sam Riley, Alice Braga, Danny Morgan, Elisabeth Moss, Kirsten Dunst, and Viggo Mortensen.

On the Road is available to stream on AMC+
