The film has been rated 92% ‘Fresh’ on Rotten Tomatoes with many more praises and critical thumbs-ups from critics and the audience alike still pouring in.
While the story itself is quite unique, Glass’ execution of the narrative was what caught the audience’s eye along with just how amazing Stewart looked as the protagonist in the film along with all her co-stars who managed to make this film a masterpiece.

What Is Love Lies Bleeding About?
Depravity, debauchery, and every bit of violence that one could fit in a film, Love Lies Bleeding is a raw and beautifully twisted love story between two women and their quest to find a place to live peacefully.
The film follows the story in the year 1989 of a reclusive young lady named Lou, who is a gym manager. One day, she finds an aspiring female bodybuilder named Jackie, who she instantly falls in love with, and decides to head to Las Vegas for a bodybuilding competition together.
But one violent thing leads to another, till Jackie gets tangled with Lou’s criminal family and seeks to get out of it with Lou by her side.
