The actress’ face lit up with joy as she pointed out that Garfield was also present, and fans loved her reaction as it invited positive reaction from the fans when they tweeted about the two on X. While it was heart-aching to see the moment when Emma Stone spotted her The Amazing Spider-Man co-star, it was beautiful to see the clip because no matter what the two have stayed side-by-side since the rollout of their first film in 2012. The fans have loved them both on-screen and off-screen as they shared a beautiful chemistry.
Andrew Garfield Still Adores Emma Stone
Garfield and Stone parted ways shortly after the release of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, but even after the breakup, the actor has been pretty vocal about how much he used to respect and adore her. Reflecting on the Lucky Louie actress’ win at the Golden Globes for La La Land, Garfield claimed that he was her biggest fan, and witnessing her succeed was extremely satisfying for him. But this wasn’t the only time the Hacksaw Ridge actor opened up about his admiration towards Emma Stone, during his interview with Vanity Fair’s Little Gold Men podcast, Garfield gave an insight into their bond.
“We care about each other so much, and that’s a given, that’s kind of this unconditional thing. There’s so much love between us and so much respect … It’s also been wonderful to have that kind of support for each other. It’s nothing but a beautiful thing.”
Emma Stone too had something similar to say when asked about her ex, as she stated that Garfield is “someone I still love very much.” Witnessing such unconditional love and support is a rare sight and this happens to be the main reason why fans adore them so much.
