Leak Suggests Fortnite x One Piece Crossover Is Coming in the Future
Fortnite has collaborated with a bunch of anime shows, including Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack on Titan, My Hero Academia, and many more, but the most popular of the anime shows, One Piece, has been missing. But it might be changing soon, as a new report suggests that Fortnite may be getting a crossover with the anime in the future.
The leak comes from renowned leaker Nick Baker, aka “Shpehal Nick,” via the Rumor Mill segment of the XboxEra podcast. Nick stated that he has been handed over the “motherlode” of leaks about the collaborations coming to the game, and the biggest of them is One Piece.
Nick has been accurate about some of his previous leaks, such as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collaboration, but players are advised to take this with a pinch of salt for now. The leaker did not reveal any other information about the collaboration, such as if it will only bring character skins like the Naruto crossover did or if it will also have gameplay changes.
One Piece is undoubtedly the biggest anime show in the world, and its coming to the game will be a big deal. The manga, anime, and live-action adaptation have seen tremendous success, and the collaboration will only boost its popularity.
Additional Leaked Collaborations Rumored to Come to Fortnite
Any timeline for the arrival of the crossover was also not shared, meaning that there is still time before players get to play as Luffy and the gang. Nick also shared some other collaborations that might grace the game in the future, and they have some exciting mentions.
Along with One Piece, Nick Baker also mentioned some very exciting names that might collaborate with the game sometime. The leaker mentioned Doc Ock from Spider-Man, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, He-Man and Skeletor from the Masters of the Universe franchise, and Peacemaker.
Moreover, Robin from Batman, Magneto, Colossus, and Cyclops from X-Men, and The Fantastic Four are also rumored to arrive in the game. The mention of so many Marvel crossovers isn’t surprising and may happen given that Disney has recently invested in Epic Games and will bring several new experiences to the game.
