Javon Walton On His Way To Make His Boxing Debut On Jake Paul’s Card!
Fans will finally be hearing Javon Walton’s ring name ‘Wanna Walton’ get announced on the speakers soon enough as the 17-year-old superstar gets ready to make his global boxing debut as Jake Paul‘s Most Valuable Promotions in March 2024.
As announced by the official @mostvaluablepromotion handle on IG, Amanda Serrano and Jake Paul will be returning to the ring, with the former expected to be seen in the unified championship fight and the latter as the main event alongside Serrano, and MVP athlete Javon ‘Wanna’ Walton will make his world debut as a boxer.
Promoting Serrano’s fight and Walton’s boxing debut all the while calling it a mission ‘much bigger’ than him on his official IG handle @jakepaul, The Problem Child wrote:
“This one is for the greatest Puerto Rican boxer ever, Amanda Serrano. This one is for the people of Puerto Rico, from the Choliseo to the world. This one is for all of boxing to see how powerful women are in this sport and for Wanna Walton to usher in his superstar boxing future in front of 20,000 people.”
With Javon Walton finally pursuing his dream of a championship career after boxing and loving the sport for a major part of his life, fans couldn’t be happier for the teenage Euphoria alum as they wish him their heartiest wishes.
Javon Walton Previously Shared He Dreams Of Becoming A ‘Boxing Champion’
Although some fans might be surprised by this announcement, this isn’t the first time that Javon Walton has made his love for boxing go public. Sharing how passionate he is about boxing and how he wishes to do it “for the rest of my life” with TMZ in August, Zendaya‘s Euphoria co-star said:
“Boxing to me, is just a release,” Wanna explained. “I love every minute of it and, I mean, the ultimate goal is world champion and defending my titles for a very long time and becoming a Hall of Famer. That’s the real goal for me.”
Thanks to his parents who used to watch boxing all the when Wanna Walton was just a child, the love and appreciation for the sport naturally developed inside of him. And now, after more than 13 years of training in the sport, he has played about 80 amateur matches with numerous tournament wins and Georgia state titles.
