How Jeremy Renner Ended Up in a Snow Plow Accident
MCU actor Jeremy Renner had been in a serious accident on New Year’s Day when he was trying to stop his snow-removal tractor. Apparently, Renner’s tractor was almost about to hit his nephew Alex, when the actor tried saving him but instead got pulled under the vehicle and crushed.
Apparently, the brake indicator light inside the tractor was not functioning, which is now being considered a mechanical issue that might have caused the accident. Eventually, Jeremy Renner‘s nephew was able to help the actor until outside help arrived. Renner’s neighbor, who is a doctor, kept the actor stable until paramedics arrived.
The actor was then airlifted and immediately hospitalized. It was later revealed that Renner had broken more than 30 bones and upended his life. The Oscar-nominated actor thus underwent emergency surgery and was treated with intensive care by Dr Christopher Vincent, a chiropractic sports physician.

Jeremy Renner’s snow plow accident was so severe, it was believed he might not survive. But miraculously under Dr Christopher Vincent’s care, the actor not only survived but soon joined the road to recovery. Speaking with CNN, Renner’s doctor shared,
“As unlucky as he is to have such a tragic injury, he is so lucky that the injuries are where they are… He’s pushing through it and really has the determination to not only heal but come back stronger and better than he was before.”
After the actor regained his physical stability, he appeared for an interview on Good Morning America where he revealed, “I’ve lost a lot of flesh and bone in this experience. But I’ve been refueled and refilled with love and titanium.” Later on, Renner started rehabilitation and began documenting his progress via Instagram.
He once appeared on an antigravity treadmill to repair the injuries on his ankles and knees. The actor even shared a selfie on his Instagram while undergoing hyperbaric oxygen therapy that he does twice a day, to keep his fans updated.
Jeremy Renner Wrote Goodbye Note to His Family
While Jeremy Renner was going through his treatments and surgeries, his family issued a statement confirming that the actor underwent surgery after his accident. They also shared their gratitude for the help, prayers, and love, via their social media post.
“We can confirm that Jeremy has suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries and has undergone surgery today, January 2nd, 2023. He has returned from surgery and remains in the intensive care unit in critical but stable condition.”
After Jeremy Renner regained consciousness following his surgery, the actor struggled to hold back tears while meeting his family. Shocked over what had occurred to him, Renner told his family “I’m sorry”, from the hospital in sign language. Further, he was so scared, that he even admitted to writing his family a goodbye note, after his near-fatal accident, during his GMA interview.
