Despite the creepy instance, the actress held her ground firmly as her PR rep made things clear to Page Six that she certainly does not fancy the star of Die Hard. So did Willis’ agent. When the internet was abuzz with rumors of the two dating, people hounded the alleged pair for answers. Just because the statement was not directly made by the stars, and instead by their PR reps, many to this day believe it was a poor attempt to cover what was going on. The Parent Trap actor’s reps’ said,
“She is not interested in Bruce Willis in any way but as the producer of her next film.”
While Willis’ PR firm confirmed,
“He met Lindsay for the first time at the Hostage launch party and is certainly not dating her.”
Although no concrete proof was found neither denying nor confirming the fact. No new news also surfaced involving the two stars after that particular phase. The media’s inclination towards speculative news gained momentum due to the unconventional dating tendencies of the two stars. Upon observation, it becomes apparent that both stars displayed a pattern of dating partners outside their age range.
