While it may still be in the late development stages at the moment, fans can not help but get excited for the return of Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock in the upcoming MCU series Daredevil: Born Again.
Since it was announced back in 2022 that the star will reprise his role as The Devil of Hell’s Kitchen in the MCU, people have just been dying to know more details about it at every step of the series’s creation.
Along with him, it’s now confirmed that his co-stars Deborah Ann Woll and Eldon Henson, including most of the major stars from Netflix’s Defenders universe, will make an appearance. And supporting that claim, Ann Woll recently teased how the reunion of her character Karen Page with Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle might be imminent.
Deborah Ann Woll Hints At a Karen Page – Frank Castle Reunion In The Upcoming Daredevil: Born Again
While the show may have been canceled due to Marvel Studios taking over Marvel Entertainment and its operations, people still wanted to see Daredevil return on screen, and the MCU was happy to oblige. Thus, Chalie Cox, along with his co-stars Deborah Ann Woll, Eldon Henson, and many other stars from Netflix’s Defenders universe, are being brought into the MCU canon.
And since many characters like Jon Bernthal‘s Punisher have already been revealed to be making their appearance in the upcoming MCU series Daredevil: Born Again, fans are expecting a reunion of these characters with each other. Among them, fans are specifically looking out for a Karen Page and Frank Castle reunion, simply because of the promising chemistry between them.
And it seems like this is what might be the case, with the True Blood actress making a cryptic tweet on her X page with an image of both Castle and Page sharing a moment.

Since both stars are confirmed to be in the upcoming series, this might not sound like a total surprise since they are bound to face each other in one way or another. But this post does give people hope for the blossoming relationship between the two being continued in the show in the future.
What To Expect From The Upcoming Daredevil: Born Again?
While we have already seen Cox as Daredevil in the MCU on three separate occasions, including 2021’s blockbuster Spider-Man: No Way Home as well as Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin, people have been digging deep to get more information than what’s available.
So far, the fans have received the confirmation that The Defenders universe is now canon to the MCU, which opens up about other stars from the franchise coming to the cinematic juggernaut in the future.
Along with that, the narrative of the series is also set to be interconnected in a way with the upcoming Thunderbolts by Marvel Studios, which will see the titular team being entangled in Wilson Fisk’s greater plan.
